The walkie-talkies are tuned to the maximum legally permitted transmission power, meaning this walkie-talkie can also be used in situations where the transmission range of an licence-free walkie-talkie is inadequate. Boels Rental is in possession of a Dutch broadcasting licence for the temporary use of these walkie-talkies. Upon request, the walkie-talkies can be programmed to communicate with the walkie-talkies you are already using on site. VHF walkie-talkies use the frequencies 136-174 MHz and have a further range than UHF walkie-talkies. With a clear view, i.e. without buildings and height differences, the range is at its best.
