What you should know about Sander Concrete

Also known as a "stone grinder" or "surface grinder", the concrete grinder is a machine that can be equipped with either an industrial diamond disc, a grinding stone or a polishing disc. This device allows the user to polish or plane the surface of very hard materials such as concrete, marble or stone. The larger the diameter of the concrete sander, the greater the final flatness of the surface treated by the machine. Concrete grinders are frequently used for sanding floors, but they can also be used for polishing walls and ceilings. There are two categories of concrete sanders: the so-called "floor" sanders and the so-called "portable" sanders. Heavy machines weighing between 40 and 200 kg, floor sanders are equipped with a high-powered electric motor generally oscillating between 2500 and 8000 watts. Portable sanding machines are much lighter, often weighing between 2 and 6 kg, and are equipped with an electric motor with a power oscillating between 1500 and 3000 watts, depending on the model.
