What you should know about Hybrid Generator

A hybrid generator is a versatile heating solution consisting of three separate components: a control system, a low power electric heat pump and a condensing boiler running on oil or gas. The hybrid generator is used for heating or domestic hot water in a new or renovated dwelling. Allowing the change of energy source according to the requirements of its users, this solution is mainly to be implemented in homes requiring little heating. Hybrid generators have three activatable modes. The first mode allows only the electric heat pump to be used to heat a home. The second mode allows the simultaneous activation of the heat pump and the boiler for more powerful heating. The third and last mode allows only the condensing boiler to be activated, for example if the condensing boiler is more efficient than the heat pump.
