What you should know about Scaffolding

A scaffold is an assembly of wood, steel or aluminum that allows any worker to work along the building facades. The platforms of which it is composed offer the possibility for employees to carry out the construction, repair or renovation of a building. Scaffolding is of course constructed in such a way as to guarantee safety for both workers and passers-by. The scaffolder is responsible for its assembly, in strict compliance with the labour code. A scaffold can be installed in three ways. The most classic, fixed scaffolding. This is the one most often seen and is built from the ground. The second is the rolling scaffold, which is usually a small but mobile scaffold. Finally, the suspended scaffold, which is used for roofing in particular, is not in contact with the ground and is attached from the top of the building. While technology is rapidly evolving in the development of scaffolding, motorized scaffolding is increasingly used to facilitate access to any part of a building. (1)
