What you should know about Carroteuse

A core drill is a tool that can create large openings, and thus accomplish operations that a drill or hole saw cannot do. It is very useful when it is necessary to cut out a cylinder from a wall or partition, for example to pass ducts or cables through it. It can be either electro-portable or mounted on a frame (for demanding work). There are two types, depending on the tasks to be carried out:

• Dry core drill: for occasional use and extractions up to 200 mm in diameter. It is sometimes coupled with a vacuum cleaner, as its use generates a lot of dust.
• Water core drill: for other types of intensive work, especially when working with hard materials such as reinforced concrete or rock. Some of these machines are even automatic, allowing maximum grip during drilling and returning to the initial state once the work is completed.
