What you should know about Detection System Proximié
The proximity detection system is an electrical device that senses the presence of an object in its vicinity. It consists of a sensor (capacitive or inductive) depending on the technology used, which generates an electric current when an object is in its proximity. It is used in industry in general for counting manufactured products, or to start or stop a production or handling process. The sensor is linked to a system that receives the signal and filters it and then acts according to a predefined program. The proximity detection system is also used to start a surveillance camera or switch on a headlamp when a vehicle or person passes by. (1)
