What you should know about Ripper

A router is a tool that is used to work wood, more precisely to carry out finishing work on it. Since it works the wood as it comes down, it is called a "router". It consists of a chuck and, the most important part of the machine, a milling cutter. It is the latter that will allow the wood to be worked: making an edge, a chamfer, levelling the wood level, etc. There are as many milling cutters as there are types of work to be carried out. The router allows you to make all kinds of grooves, tongues, mortises, rabbets, engravings, and even mouldings. It is an extremely versatile tool in trades that use wood: in joinery, but also in cabinet making or even in the world of violin making. Using a router is not dangerous, but to work safely, it is better to wear gloves because it is a cutting tool and the cutters are very sharp, safety goggles to protect the eyes, and a helmet or ear protection because when you use a router, it can be a little noisy at times.
