Ventilation box: how does it work?

The manufacture of the ventilation box follows the same rules as those used in the context of creating an air insufflation box. It fits easily into the box of insulated motorised fans, due to its rigour in limiting noise and its filter to improve the quality of air available inside. In practice, this type of box is often useful in an air conditioning cabinet, to redistribute the cooled air in the distribution channels of each room included in a professional space.

Characteristics to be taken into account to make the right choice

In terms of choice, several selection criteria are to be considered, such as dimensions, driving forces, airflow, etc. Dimensions: the box here resembles a cubic or parallelepiped shape requiring very little space in its intended location. Depending on the context, some ventilation boxes with enormous sizes are more commonly used for the roof of a workshop, a shop, etc. Airflow: Measured in terms of cubic metres of air per hour of operation to assess the actual airflow. Smaller housings are often within the 300 m3/h limit, while larger housings (preferable for external use) are often within the 5000 m3/h limit. Driving power: Powered by an electrical device on a single-phase system, the motor runs most of the time at sequential speed with the aim of improving the systemic monitoring away from the airflow of the box.
