A sedan (also called a limousine in some countries) is a vehicle model with a hardtop (unlike a convertible), four side doors, four to five seats, with no more than two seats at the front of the vehicle. It has an average length of between four and five meters. There are several types of bodywork for sedans: monocorps (city car), hatchback (compact) or tricorps (classic). This vehicle is very comfortable and allows for a relaxing drive, perfect for long car trips. However, it is less practical to drive this type of vehicle in built-up areas or small streets. Its fuel consumption is more than correct at cruising speed (on freeways).
