What you should know about Battery Pack

Fall protection

Fall protection is equipment that protects the user against falls from a height. However, it does not prevent an accidental fall. It is used to prevent impacts on a structure below or on the ground, in the event that the user of this protection falls.

Fall protection is mandatory when an individual works at a height of 2 m or more. This is the case if a person is working at the top of a traffic lane, on a power pole, on a tree, and above water.

There are various types of fall protection systems:

-Anchor points: type A, type B, type C, type D and type E. These 5 anchor points can be fixed to a structure or building. They can be associated with a fall arrest installation system and a mobile system.

-There are three types of fall arrest harnesses: standard, positioning, and suspension. The first is used to absorb falls. The second is used to delimit an area, but it does not absorb falls. The latter allows you to descend safely using a rope.

-Connectors are used to attach harnesses to anchor points to provide optimal fall protection.

-Rescue equipment allows safe descent from a high point. There are two types of rescue equipment: descent and tripods.
