Getting tired of shaky and unstable video recordings from your DSLR, mirrorless camera or mobile phone? Rent a gimbal! This allows you to easily create stable and smooth images while you are moving. Important when choosing a gimbal, sometimes called a stabilizer, is the maximum carrying weight of the gimbal (the payload). There are gimbals especially for mobile phones, both iPhone and Android and for action cameras such as a GoPro. For smaller DSLRs and mirrorless cameras often a maximum payload of 1.8 up to 2 kilograms suffices. Professional gimbals can handle higher weights, up to 5 and even 10 kilograms.
