A misting gun, or mister gun, is mainly used in the field of public works or waste disposal sites, but also in the agricultural sector. Its main functions are to spray water over a large area to reduce dust, reduce bad odours, refresh and disinfect a space. Being a natural method that does not require chemicals, the misting gun is designed for quarries, sorting centres, demolition work as well as for festivals or public gatherings. Usually on wheels, the mist gun is mobile and can be installed at the desired location and has various water flows according to needs. There are low pressure and high pressure misting guns. The low pressure gun operates at a pressure between 2 and 6 bars and is mainly used to knock down dust, while the high pressure gun operates at a pressure of up to 69 bars and, with its fine droplets, is effective in knocking down dust to the ground and cooling the area. The difference between the 2 guns is the water consumption and the result obtained according to the needs. With its fine droplets creating a thick fog, the high pressure gun is a low water consumption material. (1)
