What you should know about Thermal Camera
A thermal camera is a device that can recreate an image from the recorded body temperature variations. The image is retranscribed on a screen by forming different colours according to the temperature recorded. The colour is random and does not correspond to anything in particular. This device works most of the time with only one beam. There are two types of thermal cameras: - With an uncooled infrared sensor that provides less accurate image quality. - With a cryogenically cooled infrared sensor somewhat similar to photographic sensors but for the infrared range. Thermal cameras are used in many areas, one of the most effective being in the rescue of people who are trapped under avalanches or debris from earthquakes, for example.
