A bulldozer is a large construction machine used to push, bury, excavate or lift materials such as stones and debris. They look like tractors with large blades on the front that vary in shape depending on the type of work being done. Most bulldozers have their wheels connected by a large notched belt that allows the machine to move easily over all types of terrain such as an earth bank. Some bulldozers are also equipped with rippers at the back (a kind of large hook) to break the material before moving it, such as a block of stone that would be too large. There are several types of bulldozers: - The one to push gravel, earth, or other materials. - The one to dig the ground before moving what has been recovered (like a kind of shovel). - The one to catch blocks of stone for example (like a pair of pliers).
